Famine!

Dear friends and family,

According to the Daily Nation, the government of Kenya is struggling to deal with an estimated 10 million famine stricken families. Some of the worst hit areas are on the coast and include families in Malindi and Kilifi Districts. Duncan Ziro is coordinating efforts in both districts and his hope and prayer is that he can reach as many families as possible.

INTERCEDE's long range goal is to overcome this type of disaster. By educating and equipping Kenyans, we can help them to feed themselves for a lifetime rather merely help them when things are at an extreme like this. "Give a man a fish and you will feed him for a day; teach him how to fish and you will feed him for a lifetime."

Please donate to relieve the current suffering, then consider donating regularly to solve the problem.

Immediate need: donations to buy maize and beans for suffering families and seed so that they may plant crops during the next rain.

DONATE NOW by visiting us at www.intercede-intl.org/donations or by sending your check to (be sure to put on it “food relief”:
